What A Crazy Two Days

Funny story.  I was out at the farm the other day helping dad tear down the walls in our feed room.  He swore up and down that the walls are infested with rats and the only way to remedy the problem is to tear the walls down so they have nowhere to nest.  Anything that involves destruction with a hammer and crowbar and I'm in.  We had a blast pulling the walls down, it was some quality time together.  We didn't find a single rat either. While out at the farm, I went to go see our male goat, BB.  Mom and dad call him Mr. Mister, but I call him BB, which is short for Blue Balls.  See, he is the only buck at our farm and we have a few does.  We keep them separated so they can't mate, hence the name Blue Balls.  Well, I was in his pen, because he is very friendly, playing with him and petting him.  Dad sees me and says, "Make sure he doesn't try and mount you."  I just laugh at him and say that we are just playing around.  Not ...

Somewhere On A Beach

Yo, it's a What Up Wednesday! So what does a crappy day call for?  The beach, duh!  Had to check out the sunset today.  Talk about washing away all my stress and worries.  Things are just right when I get out here, breathe in that crisp, salty air and dig my toes into the warm sand.  I don't even get into the water...well, I'm physically unable to get into the water, but that doesn't matter.  Just being there, soaking in those vibes, feeling the waves pull and tug at me from the shore...heaven.  Getting dookied on by a sea gull couldn't even spoil a beach trip for me, I'm just that locked in. Today I told one of my managers that I was searching for a new job.  The entire restaurant probably knows by now, and I really don't give a crap.  I knew full well that saying anything to anyone would mean that it would spread like wildfire, which is just another reason why I need to leave that place.  I also asked if she could put me on mo...

Suday Evening in AB

I signed into Blogger to start typing this and notice that Google, the almighty and all knowing, had a notification waiting for me.  It read: Your new album is ready, Sunday Evening in Atlantic Beach."  We'll get there. Woke up sort of early this morning, around 8:00 a.m.  Well, that's early for me seeing as I mostly work nights and don't get to bed until around midnight or later.  So I get up, check my email and some news, start some music on Spotify.  Get the bug to do some push-ups so I do some.  I've been slacking in this area the last few months so I need to get back on track.  I need to find somewhere to do some pull-ups as well.  Anyways, as I'm getting my morning started, I do the dishes for mom and dad while they are at the farm and I realize that there is no milk.  Of course, being the amazing son that I am, I hop over to Food Lion to take care of that.  I grab a gallon of the freshest, fattiest, most full-flavored milk I can...
