Wallet, $20. Autograph, Priceless

Last night at work, Jeff and I closed and were tasked with pulling the entire line away from the wall and cleaning behind it.  This really did not bother us all that much except for the fact that we had some late tables come in to eat so we didn't get to start cleaning until after 10 P.M.  That made for a long night and it would have been even longer if Morgan wouldn't have hung around to help us.  Off the clock, nonetheless.  So I didn't get home until like 1 A.M. and after a shower, eating and charging, I didn't get to bed until nearly 2:30 A.M.  Needless to say, I slept in this morning.  Big time.

So it was a slow start to my day, but it ended up being a pretty good day.  I did some cleaning and organizing in my room and in the house.  Had to clean the rabbit cages because it had been a few days and they need constant attention or else they will get too bad.  Helped mom out with catching up on her Barnyard accounts and making sure the calendar was in sync.  Then it was off to Morehead for an appointment (which went okay...not the best but not the worst) and I swung by Wal-Mart afterwards to get some essentials:
  • Lunch Meat
  • Bananas
  • Sub for Lunch
  • Off-Brand Lucky Charms
  • Double Stuffed Oreos
After a quick stop by the house to change and eat my sub, it was off to work.  Again, it was suppose to be an early night but we had almost a dozen people walk in well after 9 P.M. and we were not done cooking food until after 10:00.  So another late start on cleaning but I ended up clocking out at 11:00, which is only about thirty minutes longer than I was expecting

my wallet with Bumper's autograph on itIt was actually very busy tonight.  We had a bunch of parties come in, mostly because the Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament kicked off today and there were a lot of out-of-towners and fishermen that came in to eat.  It was stressful, but we powered through it.  Again, props to Morgan for coming in on his night off to save the day.  Bumpers had a good night, so it seemed.  As I was outside taking a short break, she came out and was all bouncy and giddy about how awesome she had been doing all night.  Jokingly, I pulled out my wallet and was like, "Oh man, you're like a rock star!  This is the only thing I have, can you sign it for me though?"  She took my wallet, pulled out her Sharpie and granted my request.  I've literally had that wallet for like 14 or 15 years but it was cool.  I should have asked her to sign my chest.

I spent some time with dad and mom when I got home and watched the first little bit of Jimmy Fallon before jumping in the shower and calling it a night.  I have the next two days off, which is something I have not had in several months now.  Not too sure what I will do with two entire days to myself.  Maybe jump on Little Bee or Strawberry and take them for a ride.  Or maybe I can finally go see Stacy and get some pictures to share.  Maybe shoot to the waterfront and watch some of the marlins come in.  They brought three to dock today, two weighing over 400 pounds and one that was over 500 pounds.  Pretty awesome sight.  We'll see.  Later Days!
